The Multipurpose Room is available during the normal public operating hours of the Ford Calumet Environmental Center: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday. With prior approval, and when staff are available, the space can accommodate early set up and start times. Please allow 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after your event for set-up and breakdown.

The Pavilion and Picnic Grove are available on a first-come, first-served basis during regular Big Marsh Park hours which run from dawn until dusk.

The multipurpose room can be divided by an accordion-type wall to form two smaller spaces. Seating capacity for the entire space is capped at 90. If divided, each half has the capacity to seat to to 40-45.

If your outdoor event exceeds more than 50 people you will need to fill out a Chicago Park District permit application, which can be sent to you at your request.
